Stone Indoor Water Fountains For Your Wall
We’ve all at one time or another been to a friend or family member’s house to find an awe-inducing indoor water fountain standing before us. However, not many of us have had the opportunity to see something even more glamorous – a stone indoor water fountain beautifully mounted on a wall. While many of you might assume that this type of glamour can only come at a hefty cost, it, in actuality, can be had for rather cheap.
Wall-mounted stone indoor water fountains can add a significant touch of sophistication to just about any room. Fortunately, that touch of sophistication doesn’t have to cost you thousands of dollars. A little trip to your local home improvement store and a little elbow grease can get you the stone fountain of your dreams and not even half the cost.
Your first task in obtaining a wall-mounted stone indoor water fountain is a quick trip to the home improvement store. While there, you need to purchase the tile of your choice along with some gluing adhesive. Make sure the adhesive is specifically made for the type of tile you’ve selected. You can either choose to glue the titles together or purchase a backing that will hold the tiles together.
The final three items on your shopping list should be some sort of reservoir and a water pump. Please be sure to pick an appropriate size reservoir along with a pump that has an appropriate GPH (You also need to make sure it has a water dispersion head).
Once you’ve assembled all the required materials, you’re ready to get building. Start by gluing the tiles together at the desired location on your wall, or by gluing them on your backing material. If you’re taking the latter route, you will need to devise some sort of mounting mechanism. Once you’re done, you need to find an appropriate place for your reservoir. After attaching your reservoir, you need to place the pump inside. Fill the fountain with water, and plug in the pump. Your stone indoor water fountain should be ready for action!
